1. The vial holds dry powder: 11.2 mg of Cagrilintide, as weighed.
2. Water spreads that powder evenly through the liquid: 11.2 mg ÷ 2 ml = 5.62 mg per ml.
3. An insulin syringe counts in units, 100 to the ml, so each unit carries 56 mcg.
4. Your dose divided by that: 1 mg ÷ 56 mcg = 18 units.
