2. Water spreads that powder evenly through the liquid: 12 mg ÷ 2 ml = 6.02 mg per ml.
3. An insulin syringe counts in units, 100 to the ml, so each unit carries 60 mcg.
4. Your dose divided by that: 1 mg ÷ 60 mcg = 17 units.
